History
of Alan Levene &Company
Founded
in the 1930s in Stamford Hill, London N16, it has always been
a friendly professional accountancy firm specialising in giving
specialist advice to individuals and small businesses.
In
1973 Alan Levene joined the firm of H. Adelman & Co, and
became a partner in 1974. He qualified as a Chartered Certified
Accountant in 1973, and was elected a Fellow in 1978. He is
also a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants.
Hyman
Adelman retired from the partnership in 1990 leaving Alan
to continue as a sole practitioner. The name of the practice
was changed to Alan Levene & Company in 1994.
The
company moved to its present offices in 2003.
Whilst
adhering to the tradition of personal service at economic
fees, the company makes extensive use of modern technology,
using e-mail, and many computer programmes, and is a SAGE
Accountants Club Member.
